New edition, new website - ILYO 2018 is getting ready!
This is the 6th edition of International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra!
And yet another terrific opportunity to know Witold Lutosławski's pieces under the eye of renowned tutors.We proudly present new ILYO website that will be systematically updated.
On 18th of June when the recruitment process starts you can find the registraion form on ILYO website. We will be waiting for your applications till 20th of July. The final ILYO 2018 orchestra will be chosen by the conductor Rune Bergmann and the tutors. You will know their names soon!
We will meet in the last week of August to work on the repertoire of the final concerts. Apart from the last IV Symphony of the project's patron – Witold Lutosławski, you will also work on Zoltán Kodàly's Dances of Galánta and Chopin's Piano Concerto No.2 in F minor, Op.21.
This year there are not one but two concerts – on both sides of Polish-German border. On 31st August ILYO orchestra will perform in Szczecin Philharmonic (gold stage), and on 1st September in Neubrandenburg in a unique Konzentriche surrounding.
